Dear Subscribers to our Newsletter
On behalf of us all at CIBUK, may we begin by wishing you a very Happy New Year.
A critical year
As we look ahead to 2024 and the challenges awaiting us, it is no exaggeration to say we stand at a critical juncture.
With elections coming up on both sides of the Atlantic and in Europe, the next twelve months could determine the future not just of the United Kingdom but of the free world itself for years to come.
The scale of the challenge
The list of problems now facing the UK is long and familiar. Mass immigration, rising taxes, falling living standards, low productivity, crumbling infrastructure, a chronic housing shortage, a failing health service, indoctrination of our young people, the effects of ‘Net Zero’, and threats to free speech.
What’s more, in relation to Brexit - a key manifesto pledge - it appears that in area after area we have barely left the European Union at all!
Where we come in
Rather than discuss a problem in the abstract as many think tanks do, CIBUK.Org aims to shift the dial by taking meaningful action on the ground to effect the kind of change we believe in, especially when it comes to Europe.
On that basis, what we have accomplished over the past twelve months is little short of miraculous given our financial constraints, including:
Canvassing MPs for the full and comprehensive Brexit we all voted for back in 2016 and its huge potential advantages.
Publication of reports exposing the multiple follies of re-joining the EU.
Regular newsletters.
Filming The Independence Documentary – a 40-minute in-depth analysis of post-Brexit Britain including interviews with 15 key figures from the Referendum Campaign including Nigel Farage, Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg, Ann Widdicombe and Baroness Kate Hoey.
Leading the way in defending freedom of speech through research-based articles.
Exposing potential corruption among the non-elected global institutions including the World Economic Forum and the World Health Organization.
With your help we could do so much more
What we have achieved in 2023 has been astonishing and we thank everyone who has helped to bring this about, not least all those who joined our crowd-funding campaign to help finance the making of The Independence Documentary. We are truly grateful and thank each and every one of you for your support.
Already our profile has risen hugely again and the impact of our on-going campaigns is gaining traction. With additional funding we could have an even greater impact, allowing us to employ additional staff including a part-time press officer and a sub-editor.
Where you come in
CIBUK.Org is the only 24/7 campaign group still fighting for sovereignty, democracy and freedom, all of which are still under threat. It is therefore vital that we continue to campaign until the battle is won.
In 2023 we attracted new members and secured additional Patrons from the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Our mailing list of mainstream journalists now numbers over 100.
We can only do this vital work with your help
